In 2024, the hate and antigovernment groups we tracked revealed the right’s efforts to divide the country, scapegoat and demoralize marginalized communities, and dismantle democracy.
But it’s not simply about tracking these groups — it’s about uncovering their broader agenda, countering false conspiracy theories and rejecting any and every attempt to undermine one of the things that actually makes America great: its diversity and democracy.
With the help of people like you, we’ve crumbled white supremacist movements through research, education and litigation for over 50 years. We’ve made a real difference, proving that when we work together, we can stand firmly against attacks on the rights we’ve worked so hard to protect.
To continue to get the latest on trends, and learn about our impact and what you can do to fight hate and extremism, dive into this brand new data that powers change. >> ([link removed])
As part of our latest The Year in Hate and Extremism 2024 ([link removed]) report, the Hate Map is one of the only comprehensive tools available that tracks hate groups across the country by ideology, state and city. Used by journalists, researchers, academics, law enforcement and policymakers, it sheds light on the growing threat of extremism.
In 2024, our team of researchers uncovered a rise of white nationalism and a growing popularity of conspiracy theories that claim a “white genocide ([link removed])” is underway. In response, targeted attacks on diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) efforts have become just one of the far right’s tactics to “take back” the country with the real goal of undermining communities of color.
But in the face of injustice, we cannot tire. We know you believe that too.
Friend, we hope you can take a few minutes to dive into the data that powers change: ([link removed])
