#1 Federal Judge Blocks the Dismantling of the Department of Education
Today, a federal judge blocked an executive order from the Trump administration to shut down the Department of Education. Further, it ordered the reinstatement of employees who were terminated.
#2 Supreme Court Splits on a Religious Public Charter School
The Supreme Court split on a decision around the nation's first-ever religious public charter school proposed in Oklahoma. Due to the deadlock, the lower court's ruling holds; a major win for the separation of church and state.
