In a 215–214 overnight vote, House Republicans passed Trump’s [1,000-page tax and spending bill.]([link removed])

 

It permanently extends tax cuts for the wealthy, adds new breaks for tips and overtime — and cuts Medicaid and food assistance by hundreds of billions.

 

The Congressional Budget Office says over 8 million people could lose health coverage.
