This morning, House Republicans pushed through a budget that does exactly
what we feared: guts our communities while protecting billionaires and
giving them $7 TRILLION dollars in tax breaks.
They’re slashing funding for programs our families rely on — healthcare,
education, housing, food assistance — all while making sure their rich
donors and corporate friends keep getting tax breaks they don’t need and
didn’t earn.
We’re talking about the LARGEST medicaid and food assistance cuts in US
history!
