YOUR DONATION WORTH TWICE AS MUCH TO FREE AMERICA FROM GUN VIOLENCE | DOUBLE YOUR DONATION

John, Saturday marks three years since 19 children and two teachers were gunned down with an assault rifle at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, TX. This tragedy left 17 others injured and an entire community changed forever.

Most of these innocent kids were just fourth graders when their lives were stolen. They should still be with us today. They should be getting ready for summer break and planning adventures with their friends. They should be thinking of the possibilities that high school will hold as they near the end of junior high.

Instead, their lives were cut short and their families left with the devastating emptiness of losing a child to gun violence.

We cannot accept this as normal, John. That’s why, to honor the victims and survivors of Uvalde, Brady is matching all gifts through Saturday — up to their $50,000 goal. Will you rush $5 or more today and have every dollar DOUBLED toward our fight to end gun violence and protect kids?

Children deserve to grow up and go to school without the fear of being gunned down. Parents shouldn’t have to suffer the pain of losing their child. And yet, shootings continue to plague our schools, and gun violence is the number one killer of kids in this country.

Just last month, four students were shot at a Dallas high school. Mere days later, two people were killed in another shooting at Florida State University. And still, too many lawmakers fail to act, and Donald Trump wants us to believe that "the gun doesn't do the shooting, the people do."

This time of year should be full of joy for kids in school. But because of the gun lobby's deadly influence, Uvalde families — and far too many others across the nation — are forced to carry the painful reminder of what could have been.

It's time for us to put a stop to senseless tragedies like these once and for all. By making a matched gift today, you’ll fuel Brady’s fight to protect gun laws and pass legislation like an assault weapons ban. Working with them these past few years has shown me the immense impact of their work — and with your MATCHED donation today, you have the power to fuel this fight.

So please, don't wait: Donate NOW and have your impact go twice as far toward Brady's fight to finally end this cycle of gun violence in our country.
