Dear Neighbors,

Improving our health care system has been one of my top priorities since joining the legislature, because access to affordable, quality health care is a fundamental right. That’s why I’ve authored several bills aimed at making health care more affordable and accessible for all Minnesotans. 

One of these initiatives, the Health Care Affordability Advisory Task Force, has been launched by the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH). Now MDH is inviting you to help us reshape our system. 

This task force will bring together patient and consumer advocates, employers, and policy experts to craft bold, data-informed solutions to drive down costs and improve care. Later this year, a second task force of providers, insurers, and industry stakeholders will also begin its work. Together, these two groups will help shape a healthier future for Minnesota, grounded in real-world experiences and collaborative problem-solving.
