John,

I went to Congress to speak the truth.

I testified as Minnesota’s Secretary of State and as someone who believes deeply in the right to vote.

That right is now under serious threat from the SAVE Act.

I told Congress, in person, through my own testimony, what I’ve been telling you: Minnesota has one of the strongest, most secure, and most accessible election systems in the country. We’re first in America in youth turnout and second overall, and we got there by protecting access, not restricting it.

But if the SAVE Act becomes law, that balance is gone.

Millions could be shut out.

Election officials could face criminal penalties for simply doing their jobs.

And the president’s executive order, which attempts to do much of this by decree, is already being challenged in court, with Minnesota leading the way.

I’m not going to stop pushing back. And I’m asking you to join me. Please chip in $15 or whatever you can today to help us protect voting rights and stop the SAVE Act before it’s too late.
