Hi John --
I know you may have recently taken our Congressional Priorities Survey, and I really appreciate all the input we received from our supporters. I enjoy getting to hear directly from people about the issues that matter to them personally.
But today, I’m asking you to take a different kind of survey than we normally send out. Will you participate and share your ideas about our campaign strategy to win? I want to know what messaging and strategy you think will work best in 2020. >>
Putting together a winning campaign takes a lot of work, and is a really collaborative effort. I’m lucky to have a great campaign team here on the ground in Maine to strategize with me.
But, I believe that our voters and supporters have a lot of valuable insight, too.
Here’s how I see it: When the stakes are this high, there’s no such thing as a bad idea. And we need to make sure we have the best strategy to win and communicate with voters.
Everyone knows that this is an extremely competitive district -- it took weeks to certify our victory after counting all the votes in 2018. I fully expect that the Washington GOP establishment will continue to attack my record with deceitful ads on TV and on the Internet.
So, I’m hoping you’ll share your strategy ideas with me, and tell me what drew you to our campaign. Please, this survey won’t take long. Will you participate in our Campaign Strategy Survey right now? >>
I appreciate your input here.
Respectfully,
Jared
