Dear Patriot,
The clock is ticking.
The “crown jewel” of the Washington, D.C. Spy State – Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) – expires soon.
This is the section of federal code the Deep State was caught red-handed abusing over and over and over . . . MILLIONS of times in the past several years!
Section 702 allows the NSA to collect your emails, browser history, and chat logs and even listen in on your phone calls. Section 702 also allows other agencies, like the FBI, to search through your data and the data of other innocent Americans.
They are supposed to have a warrant and provide reasonable cause to look at your private data, but time and time again, the “intelligence” community ignores the law.
In 2016, they swept up the communications of incoming Trump administration officials, “unmasked” them, and then leaked the information to the press. And they did it by outright lying to the FISA court.
I don’t know about you, but that outrage made my hair stand on end.
After all, if the Deep State will use these blatantly UNCONSTITUTIONAL tactics to try and politically destroy a sitting president, do you really think you and I will ever be safe from them?

As you’ll see, the petition insists your U.S. Representative and Senators vote “NO!” on reauthorizing warrantless searches of Americans under Section 702 of FISA – and oppose phony reforms being cooked up by desperate Spy State apologists.
Under Section 702, our federal government (unconstitutionally) grants itself the ability to record and collect information on innocent Americans without a warrant.
Not long ago, Campaign for Liberty – with the help of good patriots like you – killed a PATRIOT Act-era law that allowed the NSA to collect your “metadata” – like time and date stamps on phone calls.
But the data collection under FISA Section 702 is an even bigger assault on your liberty!

While under Section 702, intercepted communications are required to include a foreign agent that is “of interest” to the intelligence community, the Deep State has interpreted this power so broadly, it can include virtually any American!
In fact, the last time this was up for renewal, the Director of National Intelligence flatly REFUSED repeated requests by Congress to inform them of how many innocent Americans’ communications Big Brother is actually sweeping up!
And former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper lied to Congress about this unconstitutional spying . . . and was then outed by James Snowden shortly thereafter.
The bureaucrats also REFUSED to say whether or not they had swept up conversations involving Members of Congress, despite the fact they have – and one targeted U.S. Representative revealed it himself.
Why the lies?
Most likely it’s because if the American people knew the scale of the Deep State’s domestic spying programs, it would result in a full-scale revolution in the country!
The longer these criminal spying programs continue, the more emboldened the Deep State has become.
In fact, both the NSA and the Department of Justice have flat-out REFUSED multiple times to comply with the minimal protections demanded by FISA court orders (which is usually a rubber stamp for the Deep State).
And don’t think for a minute you are safe just because Joe Biden is no longer in office!
The recent Senate confirmation hearings of Trump cabinet officials told us all we need to know. . .
The intelligence community would not agree to Tulsi Gabbard as the head of the Department of National Intelligence until she publicly wavered on renewing Section 702 of FISA!
Just last year, the Deep State demanded the ability to LIE to the FISA Court without penalty!
If you or I ever committed perjury in a federal courtroom, they’d lock us up and throw away the key!
The fact is, we cannot allow this to continue if our beloved country is to remain – in any sense – free.

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), Chairman of the U.S. House Judiciary Committee, is once again leading the charge against Section 702 re-authorization without significant protections for American citizens.
And he has bi-partisan support in the U.S. House.
But, believe it or not, politicians don’t always follow through on their promises, as we witnessed just last year when House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) flip-flopped on the issue at the last second and cast the deciding vote against a warrant requirement.
