Trump may claim a mandate for his many heinous and chaotic policies, but Congressman Green has kept the nation's focus on affordable and accessible health care.
This is especially important in Oklahoma, where Soonercare covers nearly a million of our neighbors; and the Republican cuts would lead to rural hospitals closing throughout the state.

Congressman Al Green has represented Texas’s 9th District in the U.S. House of Representatives since 2005.
A former NAACP leader and Justice of the Peace, he is a longtime advocate for civil rights, economic justice, and fair housing.
Green serves on the House Financial Services Committee and is known for his bold stands on accountability and social equity.
A native of New Orleans and a graduate of Texas Southern University’s Thurgood Marshall School of Law, he lives in Houston, Texas.
