TPL Advocates Raise Their Voices on Capitol Hill

Last week, more than 100 advocates from across the nation joined us in
Washington, DC, for TPL's annual Day on the Hill. They met with
115 congressional offices to demonstrate support for the Public Lands
in Public Hands Act. This legislation will prevent the sale of public
lands for short-term gain, ensuring our shared lands remain protected
from privatization and accessible to all.

syrup! The Tohono O'odham people have long harvested the fruit
of this iconic cacti in the Arizona region now called Saguaro National
Park, where TPL recently added 47 acres in the foothills of the Tucson
Mountains.

Urge Governor Kemp to Fully Fund Land Protection in Georgia

The Georgia Outdoor Stewardship Act (GOSA) contains a provision that
cuts dedicated funding for parks and land protection by 20 percent
when state revenue drops. Despite a strong economy, state revenue fell
last year, meaning $6 million less for GOSA. Urge Governor Kemp to
restore full funding to create more parks and protect public land.

Celebrating the Grand Opening of Judge Charles R. Rose Community
Park
