Yesterday, we celebrated the 15th NLC Institute class with a virtual commencement for our 900 Fellows. Like the cohorts of the past, this year’s Fellows demonstrated that the power of NLC is in its capacity to bring together local leaders across identities, issues, and industries.

Our Fellows went through this leadership program during a transformative period in our nation’s history. And together, we have witnessed the best - and the worst - of leadership in America.

As Dr. Alister Martin, NLC Boston Fellow and 2020 class speaker said yesterday to his fellow graduates, " When you think about who will solve these problems, look in the mirror. It's you. It's us. It's our generation’s turn now. We can do it because of the tools we gained through NLC. We can do it because we have each other ."

As this Institute year closes and we all reflect on the future we want for this nation, we ask that you invest in leaders who are fighting for a better future that lives up to our country’s highest ideals.

NLC has trained thousands of leaders in the last 15 years. But our work is far from over. We need your help to train the next generation of progressive leaders.
