Unfortunately, due to today's weather forecast and concern for participants’ safety, AFL-CIO and SMART are postponing the rally to demand justice for our union brother Kilmar Abrego Garcia and workers nationwide.
 
Organizers will be in touch soon with a new date.
 
In the meantime, there are a few important actions everyone can take instead to help working families:

  • If you haven’t yet told leaders on Capitol Hill to demand Kilmar Abrego Garcia’s return to the United States, please send a letter with SMART here.

  • Solidarity with our immigrant family, friends and neighbors has never been more important. We encourage you to learn about your rights and share our immigration resources with anyone who may need them.

  • Right now, House leaders are pushing through a budget that would have the largest cuts in history to Medicaid and to SNAP food assistance, as well as more cuts to retirement benefits for federal workers. Will you make a call in support of working families?
