Yesterday’s election results are a testament to the work you put in over the last few months, and I can’t thank you enough for helping me win the Democratic nomination by a landslide margin.

But Republicans executed a devious campaign to collect a sufficient number of write-in ballots and are planning to mount a significant challenge this November. Although we won the Democratic Primary, we must remain cautious about what will happen between now and Election Day.
So the fight continues. And while I sincerely appreciate everything you did to get me to this point, I still need your help to continue the fight for criminal justice reform.
