Creative Commons has been thinking about AI a lot. This past year, we’ve hosted many events exploring what it means to protect the commons in the age of AI and how CC might intervene.

We're currently developing a framework that would empower content-hosting platforms to indicate preferences for AI training. We believe there needs to be a greater degree of reciprocity between AI developers and the commons.
