While Republicans are fighting to cut Medicaid–the largest single source of coverage in the United States, the Squad is fighting to make health care a guaranteed right.
Republicans are putting tax breaks for billionaires above the needs of their constituents—there is not a single a congressional district where cutting Medicaid is supported by more than 15% of voters:
Medicare for All is a line in the sand. Health care for everyone. No exceptions.
Medicare for All is a bedrock policy for the Squad because they know the status quo is failing millions:
No one should go broke to afford insulin.
No one should have to choose between putting food on the table or seeing a doctor.
No one should be denied care because of their income or job.
