Suffolk County Police Officer Matias Ferreira, a combat-wounded Marine Corps veteran was asked to leave his seat in the emergency exit row, (where he typically sits while flying) due to his being a double amputee despite his peak physical fitness, full capability to perform the emergency functions, and status as an active-duty law enforcement officers.
