The Trump Administration made a back-alley deal with the gun lobby to allow the sale of devices that turn semiautomatic firearms into machine guns.
This is the most dangerous move on gun policy we’ve seen yet — Trump has essentially made deadly weapons of war available to the public, undermining decades of gun policy and putting lives at risk.

This deadly deal was spearheaded by Trump’s general counsel, a co-founder of one of the largest gun rights groups in the country. They’re working around the legal system to permit the sale of ‘Forced Reset Triggers’ (FRTs), which massively increase the rate of fire of a gun with a single, constant pull of the trigger.
FRTs will have no regulation or background check requirement, meaning anyone will be able to transform a firearm into a deadly machine gun, unchecked.
This is the most dangerous step the Trump Administration has taken yet — we must speak out in the interest of our lives before it’s too late:
