What's Available This Week?
With the sun shining ☀️upon us, it’s the perfect time to enjoy vibrant, tropical flavors. The combination of our fresh, locally harvested organic citrus and two of our favorite fish—Wahoo and Opah—brings a refreshing burst of brightness to your plate. These fish are made for light, citrus-forward dishes that bring out their natural flavors and pair beautifully with tropical preparations.
Wahoo, also known as Ono in Hawaii, has a firm, white flesh that’s perfect for grilling. Its mild flavor makes it ideal for a zesty Meyer lemon butter sauce or poached in a coconut lime Thai-inpsired broth, both of which elevate its richness with a touch of brightness.
Opah, with its vibrant hues of pink, silver, and orange, is a stunning fish that takes to tropical flavors effortlessly. Whether served grilled or pan-seared, we love Opah with fresh Citrus Salsa. The combination of citrus, cilantro, and a touch of heat from jalapeño brings out the fish’s mild flavor, making it an ideal choice for sunny days and alfresco dining.
We’re also excited to offer Ahi Tuna Trim and Ahi Tuna Belly this week. Excellent options for poke, tartare, or seared preparations that showcase bold, island-style flavors. These cuts are ideal for flavorful tuna dishes.
We're excited to bring you freshly harvested organic citrus this week from the Lovewell Farm—Meyer Lemons, and Bearrs Limes are all perfect for bringing these dishes to life. Enjoy the beautiful weather and the bright, fresh flavors of spring and summer!
With gratitude,
Jenn, Alan, and the Real Good Fish family
