I've said it from day one of this campaign: I will work for you and I will fight for New York City.

Fighting for NYC means standing up to a federal government that is intent on making life for New Yorkers harder and more costly, that challenges our values, and that causes those who are most vulnerable to pay a steep price.

I have never shied away from a fight—especially when it was the right fight, for the right reason.

I will continue to stand up for each and every New Yorker. Together, we will make our city affordable, safe, healthy, educated, and fair.
