I’ve always believed that when someone puts on the uniform and serves our
country, we owe them more than words—we owe them action.

That’s why I was proud to support the passage of House Bill 266, now signed
into law by Governor Kemp. This bill eliminates the state income tax on
military retirement benefits, ensuring that over 90,000 retired service members
in Georgia get to keep more of what they’ve earned.

It’s a commonsense step forward—and one that makes Georgia a stronger home
for the heroes who’ve served and sacrificed for our nation.

As lieutenant governor, I’ll never stop fighting to honor our veterans, cut
