John,

One of my most critical fights in Congress is to help lower the price of prescription drugs. According to a report from just last year, some of the most common prescription drugs for seniors have soared in cost ten times the rate of inflation over the past five years. This is why we must control prescription drug prices. Will you stand in support of my efforts? >>>

Earlier this year, I helped introduce legislation to allow Medicare to negotiate prescription drug costs. The Medicare Negotiation and Competitive Licensing Act is one way to help struggling households be able to afford their prescriptions. In addition to negotiating prices, this legislation would spur marketplace competition and drive down costs.

John, this issue is so critical to the people in my district and across the country. Will you take a moment and stand with me in support of this legislation? >>

Across Central Virginia and the United States, Americans are struggling with mounting healthcare costs, including the cost of necessary prescriptions. This is one step in our fight to help families facing these mounting costs.

Thank you,

-Abigail
