As the GOP continues to try to push a budget that looks out for billionaires, I want to assure you that I’m standing up for working families.

As we’ve seen in their proposals, House Republicans want to take away Medicaid coverage from millions of Americans. They promised no cuts to Medicaid, but clearly, that was a total lie. 

The Republicans’ plans will put Americans' lives at risk. Their budget will make America sicker, hungrier, and poorer — all to make the rich even richer. Medicaid provides lifesaving care that millions of Americans rely on, but instead of helping ordinary Americans on Main Street, Trump and House Republicans are looking out for the top 1%. 

Democrats will continue to stand up for the Americans who rely on Medicaid. We are not going to back down in our fight for working families. Because working families will always be the people we look out for. 

The GOP is planning one of the largest cuts to Medicaid in history. Will you chip in so we can keep pushing back against this?
