John,
The Asian American and Pacific Islander community has shaped the heart of this country through rich cultures, bold leadership, and deep traditions.
For generations, Asian Americans were told we did not count as citizens, neighbors, or voters. But despite that injustice, when we finally had the right to vote, we used it not just for ourselves, but for the generations to come.
That generation is here. And this month, we are not just honoring the past — we are writing the next chapter by continuing the work that sustains our communities every day:
🌺 Sharing cultural stories
🌺 Preserving languages
🌺 Holding tight to culture
🌺 Lifting up community leaders
When our history is left out of textbooks, we pass it down through stories, language, and legacy. When we face hate, we respond with solidarity. And when our voices are challenged, we stand up and speak out.
That strength, that commitment, that love — it’s what keeps communities thriving. This year, we’re bringing those qualities to the ballot box to make sure that our voices are heard.
