The House GOP, after months of promising no cuts to Medicaid and SNAP, released details of their bill that, guess what, outlines cuts to Medicaid and SNAP. Shocker.Fight over Medicaid cuts heats up as House Republicans release bill. [[link removed]]

This bill includes new work requirements for Medicaid eligibility. Many recipients are too sick to work — that’s why they’re on Medicaid! Read the room.Reports indicate that this legislation will cause 8.6 million more Americans to go uninsured.

But that’s not all, this bill will cut millions from SNAP benefits, require additional higher state funding for Medicaid to balance out federal cuts (where states will find extra millions of dollars I don’t know), make Trump’s billionaire tax cuts permanent, and hike up the debt limit by $4 TRILLION.

This is why retaking the House majority this cycle is more than critical, it’s absolutely necessary to stop this administration and their enablers in Congress from outright theft from the American people.
