Friend, we can never take our progress for granted.
Later this week, Conservative Party leadership hopefuls will take the stage at their first debate. With Conservative politicians promising to make pollution free again, cut funds to the CBC, roll back our government’s ban on assault-style weapons, and more of the same policies from Andrew Scheer and Stephen Harper, the stakes for Canadians are clear. We need to be ready to protect our progress, and to keep Canada moving forward.
In October, Justin Trudeau and the Liberal team earned a mandate from Canadians to invest in the middle class and the most vulnerable, create and protect good jobs, keep Canadians safe and healthy, and protect a clean environment. That hard work has been continuing even through these challenging times, and none of our work to build a better future in these crucial months ahead will be possible without your support and involvement.
With your support, friend, we can continue growing our movement in every part of Canada and keep building on the progress we’re making together for Canadians.
This past weekend alone, more than 750 Liberal volunteers in more than 200 communities made over 32,000 calls in our second Virtual Weekend of Action, and we’ll be stepping up that hope and hard work even further throughout the summer.
