Right now, Congress is debating a proposal that would slash $300 billion from SNAP — the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, the nation’s most effective tool in combating U.S. hunger. If passed, this bill would take away life-saving food assistance to tens of millions children, seniors, veterans, and low-income working people.

This isn’t speculation. This is real, and it is urgent.
