This week, House Republicans are preparing to vote to gut nearly $1 trillion from Medicaid.

If that sounds extreme, it’s because it is – and no community has more to lose than ours.

Nearly 70% of folks in CA-22 rely on Medicaid for their healthcare – the highest rate of any congressional district in the entire country.

That’s tens of thousands of our neighbors – kids, seniors, working parents, and people with disabilities – who rely on these programs for basic care.

And now, Republicans in Washington are threatening to take that away – all to pay for tax cuts for billionaires and big corporations.

It’s not just reckless, it’s cruel.

You have my word that in Congress, I’ll never stop fighting to protect the care our communities depend on. This campaign is about standing up for the people who’ve been left out, not selling them out.
