Dear Friends,

At a time when democracy is under threat from right-wing extremists in
both the US and Israel, we’re excited to invite you to a special
opportunity to hear from leading Israeli political journalist Tal Shalev
and J Street Chief Policy Officer and Senior Vice President Ilan
Goldenberg. Together, they’ll help make sense of this pivotal and complex
moment.

Tal and Ilan will share timely insights on recent events, the state of
democracy, the US-Israel alliance and the political landscapes in both
countries as we head toward the 2026 Knesset and Congressional elections.

We hope you can join us for this important discussion. Together, we’ll
explore how we can work across borders to support a shared vision of
peace, justice and freedom. We’ll also reflect on the ways American Jews
can play a meaningful role in shaping the future in the Middle East while
navigating a complex and unprecedented political era here at home.

Looking forward to seeing you there,

Tamar Ariel
National Director of Engagement, J Street

J Street is the political home for pro-Israel, pro-peace, pro-democracy
Americans who want Israel to be secure, democratic and the national home of the
Jewish people. Working in American politics and the Jewish community, we
advocate policies that advance shared US and Israeli interests as well as Jewish
and democratic values, leading to a two-state solution to the
Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
