I’m reaching out to invite you to an exciting in-person event in support of FairVote Minnesota, featuring one of our nation’s foremost public health experts, Dr. Michael Osterholm, on Wednesday, June 11 from 5:30–7:00 PM in Edina .
The event, titled A Vaccine for Democracy 2.0 , builds on the powerful conversation we began in 2020 during the COVID crisis and will examine the deepening threats to our democracy today—and the urgent need for reform to safeguard our future.

Dr. Osterholm will lead a timely and thought-provoking discussion on how today’s federal leadership is actively undermining democratic norms and institutions—fueling division, weakening our ability to govern, and threatening the public good. He will highlight how reforms like Ranked Choice Voting (RCV) can help inoculate our democracy against rising authoritarianism by reducing polarization, fostering accountability, and ensuring leaders are elected with broad public support.
