Responding to Weekend Storms
On Friday afternoon, May 16, severe storms swept through eastern Missouri. Tornadoes were confirmed in St. Louis and the Sikeston area, causing significant damage and loss of life. Injuries and fatalities have been confirmed. In St. Louis, five people were killed and an estimated more than 4,000 buildings sustained damage. The UNITE team is seeking elective ideas and elective leaders for its two weeks of [link removed] UNITE Students this summer. Electives are an integral part of the UNITE Students experience! For 45-minute sessions, students are invited to engage in interactive, engaging, transforming ways. This is an opportunity for students to build relationships with new friends, learn new skills, create new things and build lasting memories.
