I founded Leaders We Deserve because I saw how our political system was working against our country's future. I saw how older and wealthier politicians kept holding onto power - and to the status quo - for longer than anyone needed them to.

As a community organizer in Chicago, Robert has spent his life fighting and advocating for his neighbors. He saw his community struggling to afford groceries, living in fear of gun violence, and unable to pay their rent. So he took action, because he wasn’t willing to accept the status quo.
