The Action Network & Action Builder team met in New Orleans last week for a staff retreat! We're a remote staff spread across 15+ states, so this is a rare occasion. Thank you for your patience as we postponed trainings and demos to make space for this get-together!
Our retreat in New Orleans included music on Frenchman Street, a swamp tour, great food, and some work, too.
We had the privilege of meeting with some of our partners in New Orleans, including Lift Louisiana, an organization building a better Louisiana for women, girls, and gender expansive people by advocating for reproductive health, rights and justice, and New Orleans Workers' Center for Racial Justice, a united front of exploited Black and Immigrant workers who are organizing and building the power to demand dignified work, racial justice, liberation that transcends borders, and full participation in every decision that affects their lives.
