BREAKING: Congressman Clyde is Fighting on the Front Lines – Urge Your
Representative to Join Him!

<tel:202-224-3121>

Click here to call <tel:202-224-3121>202-224-3121 <tel:202-224-3121> and urge
your Representative to join the fight to remove silencers and SBRs from the NFA!

Dear John,

Good things are happening on Capitol Hill!

Last Friday, Rep. Clyde urged the House GOP
<[link removed]> to repeal the taxation,
registration, and regulation of suppressors and short barreled weapons—and we
are SUPER close to getting these items removed from the National Firearms Act.

“The House now has a historic opportunity to repeal the burdensome taxation,
registration, and regulation of short-barreled firearms and suppressors under
the National Firearms Act. The American People are watching. It is time to
deliver." – Andrew Clyde.

Rep. Clyde is fighting to protect our Second Amendment rights. So, the
question remains, what is your congressman doing to support him in this fight?

The NFA has imposed a burden on law-abiding gun owners who must submit to
registration, fingerprinting, and heavy taxes just to own something that is
already a Constitutional right.

Remember how the Biden administration's pistol brace rule turned millions of
law-abiding gun owners into felons overnight? This is a harsh reminder of why
we must support Rep. Clyde’s efforts to remove SBRs from the NFA, so we can
prevent a future anti-gun administration from reimposing the ban on
pistol-braced firearms!

And that is why your congressman should support Rep. Clyde’s efforts.

The Hearing Protection Act and the SHORT Act are essential bills that will
remove suppressors, short-barreled rifles, short-barreled shotguns, and Any
Other Weapons from the NFA.

Here’s how you can support Rep. Clyde and ensure your congressman is on the
right side of history:

Call your Representative and say something like this:

* "Hello, my name is [NAME] and I’m a member of Gun Owners of America and a
voter in this state. Will you support Rep. Clyde’s efforts to remove
suppressors and short barreled firearms from the National Firearms Act?"
* “The Hearing Protection Act would remove suppressors from the NFA. And the
SHORT Act would remove short barreled firearms. Passing the SHORT Act would
prevent another anti-gun president from banning millions of firearms the way
Joe Biden did.
* Gun Owners of America will be watching your actions closely and let me know
what happens."
And if your Representative is a Democrat, your time could be better spent
calling one of the House leadership numbers. Given that they appear to be on
board with protecting suppressors, they need to ESPECIALLY hear that you want
to protect short-barreled firearms.

So please urge the House leadership to include the SHORT Act in the
reconciliation bill to protect short-barreled firearms.

Here’s their info:

Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA):
(202) 225-2777 <tel:(202) 225-2777>

House Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-LA):
(202) 225-3015 <tel:(202) 225-3015>

House Majority Whip Tom Emmer (R-MN):
(202) 225-2210 <tel:(202) 225-2210>

We can’t let up now. Thank you for all your work!
