Innovations for Poverty Action’s Consumer Protection Research Initiative has launched a call for research proposals focused on consumer protection in digital finance. We recently closed our Expression of Interest (EOI) stage and received a strong set of proposals for innovative work in this space.

As part of the EOI, applicants were invited to indicate whether they would like to be matched with academic researchers, particularly relevant for submissions led by implementing organizations without PhD-level researchers on the team.

If you are a PhD-level researcher affiliated with a university or research institution and are interested in being matched with a promising team, please complete this form by Sunday, May 25, 2025.

Submitting this form does not commit you to participating in any project. If we identify a potential match, we will share relevant details and facilitate an introduction. You and the team can then decide together whether to move forward after discussing the research idea in more detail.
