This week Republicans are finalizing plans to slash anything they can from the government funding bill **_and still finding themselves $3.3T in debt_** due to extending tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans. If that wasn’t insult enough, taxes will go _up_ for many of the lowest earners.

Here’s just a few of the big cuts that will happen under the budget as it exists right now:

We’ve got your back though. Pick a topic (or more than one!) and call your reps. This bill is likely getting a vote this week in the House so you need to act fast and call - don’t just send an email as [emails take more time to be processed]([link removed]).

The Senate will consider their version of the bill this summer under special rules that only require 50 votes to pass. This is a big opportunity for Republicans to squeeze in their dream cuts that would never pass the normal 60 vote threshold in the Senate. Some of the calls we’ve written up on the budget changes:
