John, we got a strong response to yesterday’s email and we are racing against the clock.
Tomorrow morning our ads highlighting National’s cuts to women’s pay must go live, before their budget lands on Thursday.
National hopes Kiwis won't notice what they're doing. We can't let that happen.
We need your support today to maximise our reach. Just $10 <[link removed]> from you helps us get our ad in front of more New Zealanders - can you help us by chipping in right now? <[link removed]>
Thanks so much for standing with Labour and for the 180,000 low-paid workers across Aotearoa who deserve pay equity.
-Ngā mihi, Rob
PS - Thanks so much if you're one of the hundreds of people who gave yesterday!

Subject: Urgent re Pay Equity
Kia ora John,
National is on the defensive.
Without any warning or consultation, National cancelled every pay equity claim covering about 180,000 low-paid workers – including nurses, teachers, midwives and care workers.
Since then, they’ve been claiming it’s not a cut.
The truth is they’re taking money that was going directly to increasing women’s pay to save their budget. That's a cut and no amount of distraction can change that.
We want everyone to know what National is doing. The team has put together an ad to run online on Wednesday – the day before National’s budget – but we need your help.
John, will you donate right now to help get our ad running on Wednesday? <[link removed]>
<[link removed]>$10 <[link removed]> <[link removed]>$20 <[link removed]> <[link removed]>$50 <[link removed]> <[link removed]>$100 <[link removed]>Every $10 you donate means we can show the ad to 1,000 people so they’ll know National thinks tax breaks for tobacco companies are more important than women’s pay.
National’s choice to take money from 180,000 people doing essential work – often underpaid, undervalued, and overwhelmingly done by women – was wrong. Plain and simple. And we are not backing down on this.
If you agree, John, then please chip in right now <[link removed]>
<[link removed]>$10 <[link removed]> <[link removed]>$20 <[link removed]> <[link removed]>$50 <[link removed]> <[link removed]>$100 <[link removed]>With your donation we can make sure everyone knows who is really paying for National’s budget.
Thanks for your support for pay equity and for Labour.
Ngā mihi maioha,
Rob Salmond
