John,
Do you know why I decided to become a doctor?
It’s because I knew that many people across the world and within our great
countrydesperately needed help. I truly believe that God called on me to assist
others during their times of hardship because he knew that I could carry the
burdens of those I deliver aid to, improving their lives tremendously.
As a result, the past 35 years of my life have been spent in the medical
field.
I graduated magna cum laude from Davidson College in 1985 and then graduated
with honors from the UNC School of Medicine. I completed a surgical residency
in Urology and Renal Transplantation at the University of Kentucky in Lexington
and then opened up my own practice in Greenville, North Carolina, after moving
there with my wife over 20 years ago.
I’ve traveled far and wide to places such as India, several parts of Africa,
Nicaragua and Haiti as a Medical Missionary, serving both God and people from
all walks of life. During this time, I was fortunate enough to meet Mother
Teresa, who further inspired me to serve those in need.
My endeavors to lend a helping hand did not stop there. When Congressman
Walter B. Jones, Jr. passed away in 2019 after 22 years of service and North
Carolina was left without someone to represent their needs,I felt called on to
step up.
I have been blessed to be able to serve the great people of North Carolina in
Congress. Although this journey is a new one, I have learned it is not so
different from working in the medical field.People want someone to care about
their needs and take action to fix the issues that are afflicting them.
I excel as a congressman because I know how to diagnose people’s concerns and
work with my colleagues that will achieve results.
It has been a privilege to represent the wonderful people of North Carolina,
but I’m not ready to give up on this position just yet. I wish to proceed with
my duties and continue work on issues that are important to you.
For me to fulfill my earthly responsibility and keep North Carolina on course
for prosperity, I must implore you to do something for me.Will you please stand
behind me with your financial support?

I am aware that what I’m asking may be difficult, but it is necessary –
especially if we want to continue our hard work. It’s my calling to serve you,
but I can’t do that if Democrats retake the House Majority and block our
America First legislation.

As a devout member of the church and a trusted physician within my community,
I can promise that I will continue to selflessly represent you in Congress. I
will continue to advocate for your needs and champion North Carolina values,
just as I advocate for my patients and for the word of God.
