Email from Finchem for AZ Senate We must fight harder.     Hello John, Katie Hobbs just vetoed 35 bills in a single day - including SB1088, a critical measure I supported that would’ve forced every level of Arizona government to cooperate with President Trump’s mass deportation orders. This isn’t just obstruction - this is open defiance of the people of Arizona. SB1088 would have made sure that state agencies, counties, cities, schools, and contractors all backed ICE, DHS, and CBP to the fullest extent of the law - while Trump is president. And it would have given YOU, the citizen, the right to hold government accountable if they refused to comply. Not only did Hobbs veto it - she BRAGGED about it. She said Arizona shouldn’t “take marching orders from Washington, DC.” Well, I’ve got news for her: Arizonans voted for Trump in 2024, and we expect our leaders to stand with him - NOT with Biden, Mayorkas, and the cartels. Her veto is a gift to human traffickers, drug runners, and sanctuary cities. While she claims to care about fentanyl and border security, her actions show she’s only interested in protecting criminals and the radical open-border agenda. This is why I ran for the Arizona Senate. And it’s why I’m telling you now - I MUST stay in office beyond 2026 to finish this fight. We don’t have time to play games. While Hobbs vetoes, the invasion continues. While she blocks Trump’s deportation plans, cartels are flooding our streets with violence and drugs. But I’m not backing down.
