John –
I’m going to get deep into the details of the Republican House budget plan, and I need you to pay attention.
Donald Trump ran on the promise of expanding his 2017 tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans. Since taking office, he’s pushed House Republicans to figure out a “big, beautiful bill” that will get the job done. That bill has been released.
The result? An obvious strain on the American people.
Funding these tax cuts would balloon our national deficit – which means Congressional Republicans are figuring out a way to cut costs for other vital programs to fund these massive tax breaks. Here’s the Republicans plan:
❌ Seven million Americans will lose their health insurance. Billions of dollars had to be cut from Medicaid, meaning less health coverage, less funding for rural hospitals, and more out-of-pocket expenses for the American people.
❌ SNAP benefits will be tanked. $300 billion in SNAP benefits have been rescinded, leaving Americans to go hungry while the rich get richer.
❌ Environmental incentives are being gutted. Apparently lining the pockets of billionaires goes hand in hand with reducing environmental investments and regulations. Even our planet doesn’t come before the rich.
John: We're already seeing the effects of Trump’s tariffs on the American people – higher prices at grocery stores, small businesses shuttered, products unavailable for purchase. Now we’re supposed to take on these massive cuts to vital programs, too?
Progress doesn't mean one group of people receives benefits while the other suffers – yet that's what this bill does. Everyone who isn't making millions will have to cover the cost. That's not only unfair but also detrimental to our economy and the American people who are just trying to get by.
We can't let this happen. I’m fighting like hell to ensure this bill doesn’t pass in the Senate. But with a GOP majority, anything can happen. We need to flip the Senate. We need to stop leaving major government decisions like this up to chance.
Will you chip in right now to help me flip the Senate blue and put an end to the despicable Trump agenda? The American people shouldn’t have to suffer because Trump’s friends want special perks. Rush in $5 right away >> [link removed]
