About the job
As the Legislative Affairs Analyst, you will provide counsel and support for cross-divisional strategic planning activities and agency-wide special projects. In this role, you will advise the executive management team on developing legislative issues and the progress of legislative implementation. Responsibilities include conducting research on complex and multidimensional issues; tracking and analyzing data; leading special projects; and preparing reports, presentations, and summary documentation. You will also coordinate agency's bill analysis process, prepare or oversee the preparation of analyses on proposed legislation, and navigate diverse and sometimes conflicting interests. Additional duties include coordinating outreach activities, responding to inquiries, providing consultations, developing strategies, making recommendations to management, and coordinating the implementations of specific initiatives. This position requires the ability to build and maintain positive working relationship with a wide range of diverse individuals and organizations.
