Planned Parenthood was just forced out of a major government health care program.
For months, Planned Parenthood has been battling the Trump administration in court over their domestic gag rule. The gag rule says any health care provider that receives Title X funds — the government's primary funding program for reproductive health care — cannot discuss abortion with their patients.
As a woman, as a single mom, as someone who's relied on government health care for her family, and as a proud pro-choice champion — I'm horrified and outraged.
I will be an unyielding champion for reproductive rights in the Senate and fight to repeal the gag rule so we can restore funding to Planned Parenthood. But I can't get there without your support: I need 160 donors to chip in right now to help raise $3,000 by midnight to take this fight to Washington. Can I count on you?

We knew attacking reproductive health care and abortion rights would be a top priority for the Trump administration.
With the basic right to make health care decisions for your own body at risk of being completely abolished, it is unacceptable for any Democrat to treat this issue as negotiable. We need pro-choice champions who won't treat birth control, family planning, testing for sexually-transmitted diseases, or abortion care as a bargaining chip.
If we want to stop the unrelenting attacks on reproductive rights, then we need to flip the Senate — and we need to do it with a pro-choice champion. I am committed to being that champion, and I will not give up. But first, I need 160 donors to give right now. Are you with me?
