Hi friend, I'm following up on Dana's message from earlier today.

We're really proud to have the strong support of advocates who've dedicated themselves to fixing our broken campaign finance system and protecting voting rights. While John Katko takes corporate PAC money and is silent as Republicans wage a war on voting rights, Dana is championing an agenda that will make our democracy more transparent and protect access to the ballot box.

It's going to take a team effort to get Dana's message out to voters before the primary -- and with our one debate tomorrow, we're moving fast. We're still about $500 short of our budget goal. If you can, please chip in now to help close the gap.

Friend, from the moment I launched my campaign for Congress, I’ve put election reform front and center.

That includes rejecting corporate PAC money and outlining a plan to overturn Citizens United and restore equity and justice to our elections. I'm determined to make sure that every voice is heard in our democracy.

In advance of our debate that’s being held tomorrow, I need your help to bring a voice to the voiceless in Washington. We need 42 more gifts by tonight to make sure our message is heard -- can you give $24 or more?

I’m so honored to have received the dual endorsements of End Citizens United and Let America Vote, two affiliated organizations dedicated to fighting for the expansion of voting rights nationwide.

Tiffany Mueller, president of the two organizations, gave some very kind words:

"Unlike Rep. John Katko, who has taken over $1.3 million in corporate PAC contributions over the course of his career, Dana knows that progress on critical issues impacting New York families, like expanding access to affordable health care, isn't possible without comprehensive reform. We're proud to endorse Dana Balter, and we look forward to helping her win."

We’re only able to keep up with John Katko’s corporate PAC donors with overwhelming grassroots support, that's why your help is so critical to the success of this movement. Can you help us hit our pre-debate goal?

In our current political system, big money special interests have outsized influence and override the interests of central and western New Yorkers. If we let Katko win re-election, his corporate entrenchment will only get worse. Let’s tell the nation with our combined voice: it’s time for a change.

In solidarity,

Dana

Dana Balter is a fearless advocate for central and western New York, running for Congress in the 24th district to ensure that everyone gets a fair shot at success.
