Friend — I want to start off the week by being completely transparent with you.
After Trump took office once again and began unleashing chaos, I met with my team to talk about stepping up our efforts on this campaign.
I wanted to put more time, energy, and resources into organizing people in Massachusetts and across the country to stand up to this lawless president.
So we came up with a new budget for our campaign, one that makes some sizable investments in new infrastructure across the board. Infrastructure that helps us reach more people with our progressive message.
The problem is, our fundraising has started to slow down in the last few weeks. And if we continue to fall short of our goals, in part due to the economic uncertainty of Trump’s tariffs and economy, we may have to make some difficult decisions about that budget.
I don’t want to have to scale back. I want to keep up the pressure on this administration on all sides, doing what we can to notch victories big and small for our democracy.
So, if you can commit to chipping in $30 — around our average contribution amount — or even just $10 today, it would go a long way to helping us keep this campaign going strong without having to turn down the heat.
