Truth Keeps Winning!

Dear John,

Even though the mainstream media won’t tell you, there is good news to report! Judeo/Christian values are winning every day, and biblical truth is prevailing.

Positive things are happening, and here are some stories that will encourage you:

Supreme Court allows Trump admin to move ahead with ending protected legal status for some migrants

The Supreme Court on Monday agreed to lift an injunction against the Trump administration blocking it from ending protections for hundreds of thousands of migrants in the U.S. – a win for Trump's immigration agenda.

The ruling will allow the Trump administration to move forward with its plans to terminate Biden-era Temporary Protected Status (TPS) protections for roughly 300,000 Venezuelan migrants living in the U.S., possibly subjecting them to immediate removal.

U.S. Solicitor General John Sauer asked the Supreme Court to lift the injunction, arguing that a federal judge overstepped by blocking the government from ending the program for certain Venezuelans.

The Supreme Court voted 6-2 on Tuesday to toss out the conviction and death sentence of Oklahoma inmate Richard Glossip. Justice Gorsuch was recused from the case. (AP/Jon Elswick)

"The district court’s reasoning is untenable," Sauer told the high court, adding that the program "implicates particularly discretionary, sensitive, and foreign-policy-laden judgments of the Executive Branch regarding immigration policy."

Trump’s First Judicial Nominee of 2nd Term Defended Abortion Ban in Court

President Trump has announced his first judicial nominee of his second term and she fought in court to defend an abortion ban that saves babies.

Trump announced late Thursday night that he would nominate Whitney Hermandorfer to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit. She is his first federal judicial nomination since returning to the White House in January.

Hermandorfer heads up a litigation unit for the Tennessee Attorney General’s Office. In that role, she has led major cases involving constitutional law – including defending the state’s abortion ban in court from a challenge from the Planned Parenthood abortion business.

As LifeNews reported last April, Hermandorfer countere arguments from the abortion giant, which said that it shouldn’t face any limits on abortions or oversight from the state when it comes to killing babies. Hermandorfer said that’s not how that works.

DHS unleashes possible money-saving measure for illegal aliens to self-deport: 'Safest option'

The Department of Homeland Security will front the cost of commercial flights and provide a $1,000 stipend to illegal aliens who opt to self-deport from the United States in a move DHS says will save thousands of dollars.

The department says this will be 70% cheaper for American taxpayers, as it currently costs DHS, on average, over $17,000 to arrest, detain, and deport someone. DHS told Fox News that paying for aliens to remove themselves, even with the stipend, is anticipated to cost only around $4,500 on average.

The stipend would not be paid until it was verified that an individual self-deported. Aliens will use the CBP Home self-deportation app to access this assistance, and DHS expects self-removals, already in the thousands, to ramp up significantly with this announcement.

According to a news release, those who use the CBP Home app to leave the U.S. will be "deprioritized for detention and removal" if they are actually taking steps to exit the country.
