I feel it, and so do you, John: the affordability crisis is hurting millions of Californians and our families.
Runaway housing costs. Millions priced out of life-saving healthcare. Unaffordable electricity bills.
Rising costs of living has made it increasingly difficult for many of us to afford the basic necessities. But too many Californians don’t trust our state’s ability to deliver results that aren’t only felt by the richest donors in our state.
Truthfully, I don’t blame them. They’ve been failed by big talk and little real action too many times, including right now. California now is poised to add to the burdens of working people with its revised budget that contains cuts in health care and abandons our commitment to produce more affordable housing.
We must fix that.
I have saved billions in waste and helped reduce costs for families in California before, and I’m ready to do that again.
This campaign is about listening to your stories and identifying the real actions I can take on day one when I’m elected as governor.
With competent, accountable leadership, a state government that is more connected to the needs of everyday people, and a governor who knows how to get the most out of our budget, we can build a California that truly adds up for all of us.
I am ready to be the governor who tackles the affordability crisis in California to lift millions of Californians and their families into the middle class – but I can’t do it without your support. Please chip in $3 to help us meet our critical fundraising goal.
