Wired: Inside the ‘Election Integrity’ App Built to Purge US Voter Rolls [[link removed]]
You've heard us talk about True the Vote (TTV) before, John, most notably for mass challenges to the registrations of voters in Georgia.
A little background: TTV is a Texas-based right-wing group whose self-described mission is “ to train citizens to protect election integrity at the polls .” Their founder is credited with “ becoming one of the earliest and most enthusiastic spreaders of ballot conspiracy theories .” Their “research” was the basis for the discredited election disinformation film “2000 Mules.”
Well, after taking a break in the wake of the 2024 election, they're back, and relaunched their voter suppression app -- called "IV3" -- to help their acolytes challenge legitimate voters across the country. This mass voter challenge platform -- which is riddled with errors and inaccurate data -- is up and running in 11 states : Colorado, Georgia, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Missouri, Nevada, Ohio, South Carolina, Montana and Connecticut, with plans to roll out the app in all 50 states.
With legislation like the SAVE Act -- which would disenfranchise millions of women who changed their name after marriage -- held up in the Senate, opponents of voting rights are clearly pivoting to other methods of voter suppression, and we've got to stop them.
John, chip in $25 or whatever you can to help stop these purges of legitimate voters and protect our fundamental right to vote >> [[link removed]]

True The Vote (TTV) brought mass voter challenges against nearly half a million Georgians in 2022 -- all from their HQ in Texas. They've been sued in Georgia for voter intimidation, but it's clear they won't be deterred in their mission to reshape our elections and suppress the people they don't think should be voting. And they are not alone.
Just after TTV relaunched their inaccurate, suppressive app, the Cleta Mitchell-led Election Integrity Network (EIN) announced “ the next phase in its mission .” Cleta Mitchell is an election denier who was a key advisor to Donald Trump as he attempted to overturn the 2020 election and she's also been a party to numerous court cases around the country, attempting to disenfranchise young voters in states like North Carolina.
EIN is continuing those attacks by pushing for citizenship checks, eliminating certain types of voter ID -- especially for college students -- and spreading conspiracy theories about how our votes are counted. Basically, all the things the Senate-stalled SAVE Act wants to do federally.
These groups are waging their war on voting at the state and local level, funded by dark money millions, and we've got to try and keep up. Stand up for our right to vote with $25 or however much you can today to stop their suppressive efforts from succeeding >> [[link removed]]

Integrity First Voter Action Project is dedicated to expanding ballot access and increasing voter participation across the country.
Since the Supreme Court gutted key provisions in the Voting Rights Act, extreme politicians have taken advantage to pass harsh laws that restrict access to the ballot box. These restrictions particularly affect disadvantaged communities and people of color. It’s our goal to bring awareness to these laws wherever they may crop up and organize voters to take action to ensure the right to vote is available to everyone in their states and communities.
