Meet the man behind Morgoth.
([link removed])
John,
For over a decade, an influencer known as Morgoth has pushed violent racism, antisemitic conspiracy theories, and fascist propaganda to tens of thousands online. ([link removed])
He described Pakistanis as “genetic sewage”.
He called for people to be “crucified across the white cliffs of Dover, alive”.
And one of his essays was even cited by US terrorist Dylann Roof before he murdered nine Black worshippers in Charleston.
He has hidden behind a pseudonym, until now. ([link removed])
Today, after a special HOPE not hate undercover investigation ([link removed]), we can reveal his real name:
👉 Michael Wright, 49, from Seaton Delaval.
Wright is one of the most extreme far-right influencers in Britain, and for years he has operated in the shadows, using anonymity to shield himself from consequences.
We believe people who glorify violence and inspire real-world hate must be held to account. And with your support, they are.
Only recently, one of our investigations led to the arrest and imprisonment ([link removed]) of a key instigator behind last year’s racist riots.
But, this work is slow, dangerous and resource-heavy, and we can’t do it without you, John.
If you believe in exposing people like Michael Wright, will you chip in today to help fund the next investigation? ([link removed])
I'll Chip in £10 ([link removed])
I'll Chip In £20 ([link removed])
I'll donate another amount ([link removed])
Even a small contribution helps cover the cost of travel, training, tech and security: the essentials for keeping undercover investigators safe and effective.
Please chip in today and help fund the next exposé: ([link removed])
