Add your name right now to demand that Larry Summers be removed from the campaign.

John,

Larry Summers — a prominent advocate for the Keystone XL Pipeline — is advising the Biden presidential campaign on economic policy.

Joe Biden having Larry Summers as an economic advisor is tone-deaf and a slap in the face to progressive voters whose support and trust he himself says he needs to do better to earn.

That’s why we’re demanding that Joe Biden remove Larry Summers from the campaign and refuses to include him in the transition team or administration.

Will you sign on right now to join us in calling on Joe Biden to remove Larry Summers from his role as economic advisor? We need a massive grassroots effort to join us in pressuring Joe Biden to do the right thing.

Larry Summers’ legacy is advocating for policies that contributed to the skyrocketing inequality and climate crisis we’re living with today.

Larry Summers was a prominent advocate for the Keystone XL Pipeline, in 1991 he argued that Africa was under-polluted, in 2005 suggested that innate differences in sex may explain why fewer women succeed in science and math professions, and under the Obama administration he opposed efforts to rapidly move our country toward a clean energy economy.

Joe Biden has a major trust gap that he must overcome with progressives and voters under age 45 who voted overwhelmingly against him in the primary and who he’ll need to defeat Trump. We’re working to represent the interests of progressive voters and ensure that our working-class communities will be represented in the Biden campaign.

If you agree with us that Joe Biden needs to immediately remove Larry Summers from his role as economic advisor, then please add your name to our petition right now.

Thank you for taking action,

Justice Democrats
