Over the years, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to serve our community here in Maryland at nearly every level — as a state legislator, Lieutenant Governor, Congressman, and now, Attorney General. In each role I’ve taken on, my focus has always remained on delivering results that matter.

As a state legislator, I helped shape landmark legislation to protect survivors of domestic violence, improve juvenile justice, expand access to legal aid, and make real investments in education and public safety.
As Lieutenant Governor, we passed some of the nation's strongest gun safety laws, including banning assault weapons and expanding background checks. I also worked to expand expungement and decriminalize marijuana so more people could rebuild their lives.
In Congress, I led the fight to pass landmark legislation, including the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act and the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act.
As your Attorney General, I’ve taken on wage theft, stopped corporate abuse, defended reproductive freedom, and held long-term care facilities accountable to protect vulnerable seniors from abuse.
We’ve made incredible progress here in Maryland, but with the Trump administration's policies threatening our state, our work isn’t done yet. Will you help me keep up the fight so we can take on the Trump administration and defend our progress by making a contribution today?
